This exhibit showcased some of my favorite works, many of which reflect my deep connection to nature and the changing seasons.

When selecting a title for this exhibition, I chose “Perspectives” for its dual meaning. On one hand, it references the importance of perspective in landscape painting—how it allows us to capture the depth and scale of natural scenes. On the other hand, it reflects how my own artistic approach has evolved over the years.

I have felt called back to the simple joy of rolling up the sleeves, smushing around the thick buttery globs of paint at the end of a brush, and seeing what happens on a blank piece of canvas. There’s really nothing like losing oneself in the magical joy of the creative moment.
